1. Marine Traffic - Eng. Dimitrios Lekkas

Dimitrios Lekkas holds a Ph.D. in the area of Information Systems Security, a M.Sc in Information Technology and a B.Sc in Mathematics. He is an assistant professor at the department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of the University of the Aegean, Greece. He has participated in many research projects funded nationally and by the European Union and published several papers in international journals and conferences. He is a member of the Greek National Educational Network (EDUnet) technical committee and coordinator of the e-School and the e-University Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). His current research interests include design of information infrastructures, computer security, incident response, public key cryptography and digital signatures, geographic information systems, database management systems.


2. Vessel Finder - Eng. Peter Stoyanov

Peter Stoyanov is the managing director and owner of Astra Paging Ltd. He established Astra Paging Ltd in 1997. The company has started development of software for the maritime industry in 2004 and developed the national AIS server and VTS database for Bulgarian Maritime Administration, the VTMIS monitoring systems in Bulgaria and the Netherlands, the implementation of AIS in the Naval and Coastguard surveillance systems. Astra Paging Ltd has started developping of its own AIS network and the provision of VT Explorer vessel tracking service in 2006. Since 2009 Astra Paging hosts the volunteer AIS sharing center AISHub.
